Everything We Build Has a Purpose. This One Is Different.
FourSix46® is a parent brand. Everything we do is structured, deliberate, and built with long-term commercial intent. Stack46 exists to build technology infrastructure. Cinevenn exists to serve the film industry. Route46 Couriers exists to deliver precision logistics across the UK.
Every venture has a model. A market. A revenue trajectory.
And then there is 46Dogs.
46Dogs does not have a business model. It was never designed to have one. It exists for one reason and one reason only: because there are stray dogs in the world that are hungry, homeless, and unseen — and we have the structure, the resources, and the conviction to do something about it.
Where This Came From
This is personal.
I grew up seeing stray dogs in India. Not as a background detail — as a reality. Dogs living on the margins of communities. Some fed by kind strangers. Most not. Surviving, but only just.
When I started building FourSix46®, I knew that if we ever built something real — something with genuine structure and scale — one of the things it would do is this. Not as a marketing exercise. Not as a corporate social responsibility checkbox. As a genuine mission, built with the same seriousness we bring to everything else.
46Dogs is that mission made real.
What 46Dogs Actually Does
The mission has three parts. They are simple. They are sequential. And they are designed to build on each other.
Feed. The first and most immediate priority is feeding. Establishing regular, structured feeding programmes in communities where stray dog populations are highest. Not one-off events. Not occasional gestures. Consistent, reliable feeding — so that no dog in our reach goes without food.
Rescue. Where feeding is established, rescue follows. Working with local partners, veterinarians, shelters, and volunteers to identify dogs that can be safely rescued, treated, and prepared for the next stage. This requires infrastructure — medical care, temporary shelter, rehabilitation. We are building that infrastructure.
Rehome. The third pillar is rehoming — connecting rescued dogs with families and individuals who can give them a permanent, safe home. This is where the technology we are building across the FourSix46® ecosystem becomes relevant. A structured platform for matching dogs with homes, tracking outcomes, and building the kind of community that makes rehoming sustainable at scale.
Why No Business Model
People sometimes ask why 46Dogs does not have a commercial layer. Why not a subscription service, or a marketplace, or a premium rehoming platform that generates revenue.
The answer is straightforward.
The moment you build a business model around animal welfare, you create an incentive structure that is misaligned with the mission. Every commercial decision becomes a question of profitability. Every dog that is expensive to treat becomes a liability. Every community that cannot pay becomes deprioritised.
46Dogs will never operate that way.
This initiative is funded by FourSix46®. As the commercial ventures in the ecosystem grow — Stack46, Cinevenn, Route46 Couriers — they create the financial foundation that allows 46Dogs to operate without compromise. The commercial success of FourSix46® is what makes the non-commercial mission of 46Dogs possible.
This is the model. Not a business model for 46Dogs. A business model for FourSix46® that funds 46Dogs.
The Okapi Connection
The FourSix46® symbol is the okapi — a rare animal that lives at the intersection of two worlds, often unseen, always resilient. The okapi survives in environments where most animals could
