Why this mark exists

Cinevenn is being built as the digital infrastructure for cinema collaboration — connecting directors, producers, writers and crew the way professional networks connect everyone else. A platform whose entire value is the trust of the people on it cannot afford ambiguity about its own name.

It is filed across four classes because the platform does four distinct things in the eyes of a registry: it is downloadable software, a business networking and recruitment service, an entertainment and content service, and a hosted software platform. Filing only the obvious class would have left three quarters of the product unprotected.

India was chosen as the first filing territory for the same reason it was chosen as the first launch market. Filing where a venture actually trades, rather than defensively everywhere, keeps protection meaningful and the register honest.

Cinevenn was filed as four separate single-class applications rather than one multi-class application, so each class carries its own application number and progresses through examination independently.
