Cinevenn's Indian Trademark Applications — Status and Classes Explained

Four Cinevenn trademark applications are pending in India with formalities cleared — here is exactly what that status does and doesn't mean.

Cinevenn's Indian Trademark Applications — Status and Classes Explained

Cinevenn, the digital-infrastructure trading name of FourSix46® Global Ltd, has four trademark applications pending in India, filed on 3 March 2026, all in the name of FOURSIX46 GLOBAL LTD. Their current status is "Formalities Chk Pass," meaning each application has cleared administrative/formalities review — it has passed an initial paperwork check, not a substantive examination. Examination has not concluded and none of the four marks is registered yet. This distinction matters: a pending application with formalities cleared is not the same thing as a registered trademark, and Cinevenn's Indian filings should always be described as applications, not registrations.

The four applications. Application 7573210 covers Class 9: software for film/media professional networking, talent discovery, digital portfolios, content sharing and messaging. Application 7573211 covers Class 35: online business networking for film/media, marketplace for creative services, talent recruitment/placement, and advertising for the entertainment industry. Application 7573212 covers Class 41: online entertainment services, information about film/media, auditions/talent showcases/events, and digital content publication. Application 7573213 covers Class 42: Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) for talent discovery, project collaboration, portfolio hosting and content sharing. All four applications were filed 3 March 2026, share the status "Formalities Chk Pass," and are held in the name of FOURSIX46 GLOBAL LTD.

What "Formalities Chk Pass" means. "Formalities Chk Pass" is an Indian trademark registry status indicating that an application has passed the formalities check — the administrative review confirming the paperwork, fee and basic filing requirements are correctly in order. It is an early-stage status. It does not mean the mark has been examined on its merits, has been published for opposition, or has been registered. A mark at this stage can still face examination objections, oppositions, or other steps before — if ever — it proceeds to registration.

How this differs from FourSix46's UK trademark status. For comparison, FourSix46®'s UK trademarks (the "FourSix46" word mark and "FourSix 46" figurative mark) completed the full UK IPO process and are registered, not merely applied for — filed 26 November 2025 and registered 27 February 2026. Cinevenn's Indian filings are at an earlier stage: applications that have passed formalities checks but have not been registered.

NOTE 46 — Passing formalities is a step in the process, not the finish line; say exactly where a filing stands.
